I was born and raised in Bartlesville. After graduating from Bartlesville High School, I joined the U.S. Army Reserves and served for six years. I learned firsthand the importance of having life insurance in place, which ultimately influenced my career path as a life insurance agent. I trained as a life agent under New York Life and realized I belong in an independent environment, so I joined the Phoenix team in 2019.
Why I like my work
I love helping people. Life can change in an hour. Insurance is evolutionary, changing as people’s needs grow. My profession is a very tangible, impactful way to help people. I can grow personally and professionally with the community. Not many industries can say that.
Outside of work
I’m usually trying to finish a book or three. I enjoy volunteering my time and efforts in the community whether by physical labor or advice. My fiancée Alex and I generally spend our free time together doing things we love.
Important stuff
I’m a proud member of the Cherokee and Sac and Fox Nations, Daybreak Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce as an advocate welcoming new member businesses to Bartlesville. Phoenix also has a presence in Pawhuska, where I travel weekly to meet with clients in Osage County.
